SCIENCE ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS WITH THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AT SARATOGA

Don’t miss this terrific opportunity...we are bringing the museum to you!

In partnership with The Children’s Museum at Saratoga, the following enrichment programs will provide a wonderful opportunity for children to learn in a fun and engaging way which nurtures discovery through hands-on, inquiry-based activities. All instructors are trained educators in S.T.E.M./S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics/Science,Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics).

COVID19 REQUIREMENTS

Kids Who Code
  • This unique program uses hands-on activities to teach the fundamentals of coding.
  • Students will learn about binary code, computational thinking, algorithms, and processing.
  • Your students will then put their knowledge to the test when they are challenged to build a robot using Cubelets or magnetic blocks that, when fastened together, form the basis of a simple machine.
  • They can move, light up, make noise, and more.

Motion Madness
  • This popular program is back!
  • This physics program teaches students about motion through a series of hands-on experiments that test speed, friction, and other variables of force.
  • Using the knowledge from these experiments, students are then challenged to build a roller coaster!
