Youth Throwback to the Past! Summer 2020

Come Twist, Vogue, and Moonwalk with us as we Throw it Back to the Past!

During this program, we will explore fun ways to incorporate the best of the past into the bright and beautiful tomorrow.

Activities will include games and crafts from various decades, including unique ways of tie dying such as bleach and ice tie dye!

Please send your child dressed in a smock or old clothing, as we will be using bleach and different dyes.

COVID19 REQUIREMENTS
  • All participants must wear face masks and provide their own
  • Participants should take their temperature before leaving for the program. If a participant’s temperature reads 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, they will be disallowed from participation in the program.
  • All participants will be socially distanced
  • Upon entry to the program, participants will have their temperature (non-touch) taken and a brief COVID-19 assessment completed
  • Participants will use hand sanitizer at entry/exit points and throughout the program, as needed
  • Only registered participants will be allowed to enter the programming areas.

Program Information
  • Program is held Monday - Thursday @ Ridge/Jenkinsville Park
  • 9:00am - 12:30pm
  • Friday (of the same week) is reserved as a Rain-Date, if we have to cancel any day during the week.

Program Necessities:
  • Please send your child with a non-perishable snack, a water bottle, sneakers, and pre-applied sunscreen.
  • Please label your child’s items with their first and last name.
  • Queensbury Parks & Recreation Staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Please send your child dressed in a smock or old clothing, as we will be using bleach and different dyes.
