GURNEY LANE RECREATION AREA - HANSEN CENTER
Hansen Center will be closed for rentals from September 10 through early 2024 due to construction on the building and the area.  If it comes available sooner, we will  re-open the space.

NOTICE TO INTERESTED RENTERS:
Renters have used Hansen Pavilion, since 1973 to host a multitude of family and community gatherings and parties. This winter/spring, the Department is undertaking a new construction/renovation project at Gurney Lane, which will include the following:

1. Hansen Pavilion – The pavilion structure will be enclosed in order to provide additional space to host and expand Department programs and activities. This enclosed space will also continue to offer rental space for meetings, small formal events and gatherings of approximately 40-50 people (No sledding parties). No indoor cooking or open flames will be permitted.
RENTAL RATE: Based on a maximum (5) five-hour period, including setup and breakdown.
• $450. rental fee — includes use of tables (up to 10) and chairs (up to 60), and cleaning fee
• $100. damage fee — must be paid up front with rental fee
* Option:  Table Linen (White) - $25./per table (18 available) (includes dry cleaning) 

2. Lower Pavilion – A new, 20’ x 40’, open-air pavilion in the lower field, below the play area. This will be similar to what Hansen Pavilion offered in the past – concrete floor, electricity, charcoal grills and up to eight picnic tables. This new space will accommodate approximately 50-60 people.
RENTAL RATE:  Resident:$200./day Non-Resident:$250./day
